More on the philanthropy front: EBay founder Pierre Omidyar and his wife Pamela are going to spend a good chunk of their multibillion dollar fortune on philanthropy, but they’re going to try a new, more business-minded approach that will hopefully allow them to do even more good than they could by founding a traditional charitable foundation.
