The Well-Formed Web is an essay by Joe Gregorio arguing that rather than focusing on the pie in the sky vision of the Semantic Web. Considering how far we are from the well-formed web, and given that we already have a clear path toward it (converting our pages to XHTML), it makes sense to go there first. Joe’s vision goes beyond simply structuring our pages to be XHTML compliant, but even so it’s still a humbler step than changing the way we do everything.
