Microsoft is coming out with six new typefaces in 2006. The last time Microsoft rolled out some fonts to improve readability on screen, they changed the world forever. It’s hard to imagine the Web these days without Verdana, Georgia, Trebuchet, and even Comic Sans. I have no idea whether these fonts will be just as successful, but I’m getting tired of the commonly used fonts today, so hopefully they’ll spice things up a bit.
