Tide To Go

May 1st, 2006 · 5 Comments

I’ve been carrying a Tide To Go instant stain remover in my bag for months, and I finally got a chance to break it in today after a run-in with a drippy hamburger. Tide To Go works. Buy yourself a Tide To Go. On a related note, Red Robin is mediocre at best.

Maybe you’ve got a bad Red Robin where you are, the one in my town is really good… service and food are excellent, and the kids love it.

I will agree that Red Robin is not that great. I was expecting much more from Gourmet Burgers, although I’ve only eaten there once. I’ve never been a fan of places like Fudrucker’s either, but some people love them. I can’t even think of a common chain that makes a great burger. Of course, I used to work at a burger joint and I had to hand-press and flame-broil about 100 burgers a day, so my standards for burgers might be pretty high.

We just ate at Red Robin last night to celebrate my wife’s birthday - it’s one of our favorite restaurants. I haven’t found much to beat a Bacon Guacamole Burger washed down with bottomless freckled lemonade! Yum. Anyhow, while we’ve never had a bad experience, I know my Mom had a strange waitress last time she went, so I’m sure they have the occasional hiccup. That said, I would give them another try, and make sure to check out the Bacon Guacamole!
