I’ve never been on the “impeach Bush” bandwagon, but if he knew of the plan to fire San Diego US Attorney Carol Lam to end her investigation of government officials associated with the Duke Cunningham corruption scandal, he must resign. Needless to say, everyone else associated with that firing has to resign too.

I don’t think it’s going to get to ‘impeach Bush’ but it’s hard imagining how he’s going to make it to the end of his term the way things are going.
About the best he could do is fire Rove and have a ‘I have sinned’ Jimmy Swaggert moment.
No one’s impressed by his bluster any more.

“any more”???????

Heh – there are many, many people who are still scared of the boogey man terrorists BushCo told them was hiding under the bed. They feel perfectly confident in BushCo since we haven’t had any ‘terrorist attacks’ since 9/11 and Faux “News” says we’re making progress and winning the war.
It is doubtful these folks will ever listen to reason since they do not appear to question anything or think critically. They certainly do not understand the difference between causality and coincidence.

I agree with Brian. You cannot underestimate the power of the Al Qaeda nightmare. This country has been primed to hate and fear for decades, and now it’s being used by exactly the people who helped create the situation.

“”any more”???????”
People used to write books about it. Just ask Bob Woodward.
