Google runs its own public transit system to get its employees to and from work in relative comfort. I had no idea.

Not public, though. I have been told that that new employees are warned to drive the first day because they’re going to need that badge to get on the bus.

…which serves to undermine the true public system by taking away riders. if google wants to do good, why not spend that money supporting true public transit?

I’m not sure where the closest CalTrain station is to them, but at the very least they’d want to provide a shuttle from there.
