Being part of a family of philosophers doesn't make you a philosopher. However, teachings and experiences within that household (if properly utilized) can help foster the growth of both innate abilities and learned traits. I'm not saying she deserves a senate seat because of her name - far from it. What I am claiming, however, is that if you grow-up in a family of philosophers, you do have some advantages in the field of philosophy. Right?
