Good call on that amendment. We need to get out some Barney Frank-style rhetoric, call the GOP's obstructionism and obfuscation what it is, and push our advantage... not to mention what's right!

Republicans don’t care about the outcome of the bill. They care about the outcome of the political process. So we can't assume they are making any of their arguments in good faith.

That is the thing that frustrates me most. There's so much at stake and all they care about is winning the political battle, making health care reform "Obama's Waterloo."

It is time for Obama and the Democrats to tell the Republicans to go take a flying leap off a cliff and pass this thing by themselves, as it was originally intended. Obama made a valiant attempt o keep this issue bipartisan, but the Republicans have abused that to the point where they are simply not welcome anymore in the debate.

The Blue Dog Dems need to wake up and realize their political careers are on the line of they oppose this Bill. They'll be voted out of office faster than you can spit.
