&lt;p&gt;As you point out, the important thing is for your site to then be easy to use for those who do click through so that you can close the sale. But, at least the chiropractor can worry less about SEO.&lt;/p&gt;

Of course by &quot;well constructed&quot; I mean that it has proper tagging, location markers, optimized copy, etc, all the things that were once purely the domain of SEO experts but are now more and more being implemented by clever and progressive web designers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I think a white hat SEO expert is just half a good front end designer: more talk, fewer skills.&lt;/p&gt;
