I also just found out today that the editors (or perhaps former editors) of Edupage publish a daily newsletter called NewsScan, which I have not yet read. My favorite feature from Edupage is Honorary Subscriber, a brief bio of an interesting person provided with every issue. It looks like Honorary Subscriber has made it into NewsScan as well.
