Content providers are looking to porn to show them the way to profitability on the Internet. I don’t know what lessons there are to be learned from the porn industry though. I mean, the competitive advantage of selling your wares over the Internet for the porn vendor is that many people are ashamed of buying it in the first place, and they can do it more or less anonymously over the Web. It’s also one of the few products with low production costs that people are willing to pay good money for.

Hewlett-Packard is still looking for a new CEO. Why not Jim Barksdale?

Guy Kawasaki sells out. Cynicism reigns again.

The Dell Linux site.

Ahh … the Internet. The most empowering and egalitarian medium for communication yet invented. Andrew Leonard regales us with a tale of the democratic nature of the Internet, and the unfettered channels of communications it provides us with in his story about pro-gun activists, vegetarians, a hacked Web site, and neo-Nazis.
