The editors of BoingBoing are offering $250,000 to anyone who can provide empirical evidence that Jesus is not the son of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Good luck!

It’s just amazing to me that billions of people around the world can believe in an invisible entity – one that has caused countless wars, millions of deaths and much hardship throughout history.
I don’t mean to criticize religion. I have a lot of respect for other people’s faith and don’t interfere with their beliefs. But I draw the line when their faith starts to interfere with my life and the laws that I abide by.
My statement to deeply religious people: You keep you religion to yourself and I’ll have more respect for you than if you try to shove it down my throat.

I believe in Jesus, and I think all of this Spaghetti Monster stuff is hilarious.

Sorry, this is no joke. It is the Truth. Ignore it at your peril, as His Noodilyness is not very forgiving.
