HTML 5/XHTML 2 link roundup

This is a special link roundup related to the W3C killing off XHTML 2 and putting all its eggs in the HTML 5 basket. I’ve posted about this myself here.

• John Resig: HTML 5 Parsing. The HTML 5 parser in Firefox is C++ code automatically converted from the Java parser used by the HTML 5 validator.
• hacks.mozilla.org: video – more than just a tag. On the use of the video tag, which is designed to replace Flash video (mostly).
• Shelley Powers: On XHTML2 and HTML5. Another roundup of HTML 5/XHTML 2 links.
• Henri Sivonen: An Unofficial Q&A about the Discontinuation of the XHTML2 WG. Sivonen represents Mozilla in the HTML 5 working group.
