persistent.info: Getting ALL your data out of Google Reader
Google Reader dies this weekend. Mihai Parparita, a former member of the Google Reader team, has created a tool to extract all your data from it. You should definitely look into the alternatives. I am using NewsBlur.

Is the tool you are talking about GoogleTakeout?

Thanks for pointing to this. I used it Saturday. No idea what I’ll do with the archive, but live goes on. In the meantime I’m using Tiny Tiny RSS.
Curious to see how the RSS landscape shakes out.
Crazily, Google has released a new feeds API today. Such peculiar timing.
